Pitch, Pitch! Who's Got the Pitch?

The publicity team at Carrie Hill Public Relations is working hard to get the media market interested in your personalized press release for feature opportunities. When contacting media outlets personally, each individual client's press release submission is accompanied with a brief introduction to the client, what they are offering and how they fit into the media outlet's editorial, production or publishing calendar. This brief introduction process is known as the media pitch.

Press releases expand on the initial pitch and focus on the client's credentials, background, action and/or unique qualities that create a client's marketability. This process is also known as the publicity spin and is the visual link between client, media and public interest.
